Privacy Policy

Who we are

Tend Home Management (“Tend”, “we”, “our”) operates the Tend web application at tendhomemanagement.com. We help renters and homeowners track bills, maintenance tasks, and home records. You can reach us at hello@tendhomemanagement.com.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and encrypted password, stored by Supabase Auth.
• Home information — address, property type, tenure, move-in date, and room selections you provide during setup.
• App content — tasks, bills, maintenance costs, timeline events, and communications you create.
• Files — photos and receipts you upload are stored in Supabase Storage.
• Billing information — your subscription status. Payment details (card numbers) are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
• Usage data — standard server logs and Vercel analytics (page views, errors). No cross-site tracking.

How we use your information

• To provide and operate the Tend service.
• To send reminder emails for upcoming tasks and bills (you can opt out in Settings).
• To process subscription payments via Stripe.
• To respond to support requests.
• To diagnose technical issues and improve reliability.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Third-party services

Tend uses the following sub-processors to deliver the service:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (US/EU).
• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Vercel — hosting and edge infrastructure.
• Anthropic — powers the AI assistant feature (messages are sent to Anthropic's API and not retained).

Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can export all your data or permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy. Deleting your account removes all home data, tasks, bills, and files. Stripe subscription records are cancelled at the time of deletion.

Cookies and local storage

Tend uses cookies to maintain your authenticated session (via Supabase). We also use browser local storage for theme preference. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@tendhomemanagement.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Tend after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
